About membership plans

The questions that come up most

What is a dental membership plan?

A subscription directly with this dental practice. Members pay a monthly or annual fee and get their preventive care included, plus savings on other treatment. There is no middleman involved.

How much does it cost?

Every practice designs and prices its own plan. On average across the Clerri platform, patients pay about $30 per month or $360 per year for preventive care including cleanings, exams, X-rays, fluoride, and an emergency visit, and save 10% to 25% on other procedures.

Can I add my family?

Yes. Most plans offer a 5% to 10% discount for adding additional family members.

How do I sign up?

From any device, in about 1 to 2 minutes. If you have your dentist's practice code, you can sign up with it here. If not, request your dentist's code.

Is this dental insurance?

No. Membership plans are not insurance. A membership plan is a direct agreement between you and your dental practice.

Who do I contact with questions about my plan?

Clerri member support is bilingual and available by phone, email, and chat: 1-877-545-4188 or [email protected].

Managing your plan

Billing, renewals, and account help

How do I get help logging in to my membership plan account?

To access the Patient Portal (Kleer), go to member.kleer.com. From here, enter a username (email address) and password. If a patient does not remember their password or has not created one, they should click "Forgot Password" to receive an email with instructions on how to create a new one.

If they do not receive an email, it likely means the chosen email address has not been set up as a user. Contact the dental practice to verify which email address they have on file for the membership plan. Please contact us for further assistance.

How do I request a refund?

If you are a patient needing a refund for any reason regarding your membership plan, please contact your dentist's office directly. Clerri is the platform that powers your dentist's membership plan; however, all decisions regarding the plan, including cancellations and refunds if needed, are made by them.

Why did my plan renew without me knowing?

If a membership plan was recently renewed but the patient wasn't aware, they should contact their dentist's office directly. Clerri is a platform that powers a dentist's membership plan; however, all decisions regarding the plan, including cancellations and refunds if necessary, are made by the dentist.

Can I get a receipt for a membership plan and paper invoices mailed?

A patient can print a receipt by logging into their Patient Portal and clicking the “Payment” tab. In the “Payment History” section, a green “Print Receipt” button will appear to the right for easy printing.

The patient’s dental office can also provide a printed receipt upon request.

Clerri does not send paper invoices or statements. To view their payment history, patients should log in to their Patient Portal and navigate to the “Payment” tab to access all payment details.

How do I update a credit card?

You can update your credit card on file through your Patient Portal. Within the “Payment” tab, there is a section labeled “Payment Method.” There is a green “Edit” button next to your current card on file. This will allow you to edit all billing information. Don’t forget to double-check the card numbers before saving! If you need further assistance, please contact your dental practice or us. You must enter a valid card.

Can I pay off a membership plan balance?

Yes! Patients can pay off their remaining membership plan balance through their Patient Portal. In the “Payment” tab, there is a section labeled “Upcoming Payments.” On the far right of this section, patients will find a green “Pay Off Remaining Balance” button.

Patients can also contact their dental office or Clerri for assistance if needed.

Please note: This payment option applies only to the balance of your membership plan. For any other outstanding payments, patients should contact their dental office directly.

Can I transfer a membership plan to another dentist?

A membership plan is offered directly through a dentist and is non-transferable. If a patient has purchased a membership plan with a dental group that has multiple locations, they should contact their dentist's office directly to determine if they can use the plan at their other locations.

Can I add other family members to a membership plan?

Yes, patients can purchase care plans for anyone in their family. To do this, patients should log in to their Patient Portal, add family members to their account, and then select the care plans that best meet each family member’s needs.

Many dental offices offer additional discounts when adding family members. If available, these discounts will be applied automatically at checkout. If patients need help logging into their Patient Portal, they can contact us for assistance.

What happens if I miss an appointment?

It will be the patient’s responsibility to reschedule their appointment directly through their dentist’s office and address any potential penalties. Please refer to the dental office’s policy regarding no-shows and cancellations.

What is the refund and cancellation policy for membership plans?

Any cancellations and refund requests are handled directly by the patients’ dental offices. Clerri does not process cancellation requests. Patients are eligible to request a cancellation and receive a full refund within 30 days of the initial purchase if they have not used any of the plan benefits. If it has been more than 30 days since the initial purchase, or if any plan benefits have been used, the cancellation and refund amount will be at the discretion of the dental office.

How do I schedule or cancel a visit with a dental practice?

Patients must contact their dental office directly to schedule or cancel any appointments. All scheduling and cancellations are managed by the dental provider, not through Clerri.

What if I do not want to renew a membership plan?

If the patient does not wish to renew their membership plan after the initial 12-month subscription, they should log in to the Patient Portal and update their account settings. Once logged in, the patient can click “Account” on the left-hand side, scroll down to “Settings,” and uncheck the box for auto-renewal. The settings will save automatically.

If the patient receives a notification that their plan has already renewed and wishes to cancel, they must contact their dental office directly to discuss cancellation.

If the patient needs help logging into the Patient Portal, they can click here for assistance.

What should I do if I received a notification about issues with a membership plan account?

If patients receive a notification about an issue with their account, it likely means there was a problem processing their payment. Patients should log into the Patient Portal at member.clerri.com using their email address and password.

If patients have not set up their account or forgotten their password, they can click “Forgot Password” to receive an email and create a new password.

Once logged into the Patient Portal, patients can view detailed account messages and update any necessary information.

Can I change my monthly billing date?

Patients are unable to change the date their monthly bill is processed. Billing will occur on the same date each month based on the original sign-up date. For example, if a patient signs up on August 8th, they will be billed on the 8th of each subsequent month if they choose the monthly payment option.

How do I cancel a membership plan?

To cancel a membership plan, patients must contact their dental office directly and request the cancellation. The dental practice is responsible for managing the membership plan and can process cancellations and issue refunds if necessary.

Clerri is the platform that powers the dental office’s membership plan, but does not handle cancellation or refund requests. The patient’s dental office handles all plan management.
